Big winds or waves, usually both best way to self rescue ditch the kite, go for the board swim in. I like the vid of the guy self rescuing standing in the water :lol: , talk about perfect conditions, light wind, no waves, current, and nipple deep water. Aquaseal, used it for multiple times to fix soles never fails. If you have any left freeze it for next time.

I always wear a helmet to keep the kooks away, so I can go big and spin!!!!, Put a life jacket on with helmet in Big waves people do stay away, its great!
Plus the top of my won"t burn.

Q-Powerline comes in orange and yellow, but most people who use it are nuts like me!

Decrease the outside lines by a cm or two by moving or making a knot closer to you, on the lead lines. That should keep the kite more in the window, with less overflying.

Don as the lake ice thaws it takes a huge amount of thermal energy out of the lake, so the lake tends to freeze faster deeper, and Harder, just need the damn snow!!
