Are you advising that metal rings be used instead of the stock pulleys? Yup. If you use rings, do you also substitute a thicker spectra line, as an insert (like best kites uses), for the areas of the bridle that the rings slide on? Metal rings.

Check the bridle line, if frayed, change.

Cheap, simple, strong, effective.

Actually I'm toying with that idea as well... Is late September already low season in Tarifa from a logistic/accommodation point of view? Maybe we can enjoy the beach and save some bucks at the same time :thumb:

This post shows exactly the situation in Flag Beach. It is true, flag beach could be a nice kitespots but the ambiance is horrible. Ben seems to have been doing this for too long and doesn't seem to enjoy it so much anymore. He was okay when I had to deal with him but I did not seem to be too happy...
