Re: Marc Jacobs at North Kite now ?

Hello Thank you for your concern. Marc did not go to North. As Marc was waiting for his heat to start his 8m Legacy was sitting too close to the shore break. A tidal serge came up took his kite and swept it over some sharp rocks and shells, causing damage. He then relocated and by the time he realiz...

Re: Firewire Vader

Hi Megabear. A 5'1 Vader with some time to adjust to the size and correct fins and foot placement will be your money board. I have guys riding 5'1 Vader's at 180# . Comes down to what type of feel you like. Top Hat weighs less than myself and rides a 5'4 VG and I would be on 5'2 same kite size. Diff...

Re: Firewire Vader

mede : We will be having the VG available - The site is currently under going some changes.

salvino- Go for the 5'3 Vader at biggest . The 5'5 will be a boat for your size and conditions.
Many guys make this mistake going way too big.
you will be stoked on the Vader.

Regards
Felix.

Re: Which 12m kite ?

Hello Plummet: OP specifically asked about Nitro5, Airush Lithium, Airush Varial X. Not F2, Cloud, Naish, Core, etc. Nitro5 is a new model with many improvements. Flysurfer has not flown a Nitro5. Neither have you. Time this is said: You have no place on any Switch thread. Your past insults against...

Re: Firewire Vader

Hello windtzu It comes down to personal preference on how you like your boards to feel. Lot of guys make the mistake of riding them over size. I weigh 160# and would ride a 5'2 VG or a 5'1 Vader. Would not go any bigger. As I find it gets to much when it gets windy. You could even go down to a 5'0 V...

Re: Switch Nitro review?

Ok now: I read on switch forum and this is what I think. Felix was disingenuous about telling me cabrinha bar will work. Switch's 30 day return policy basically states that you MUST try with switch bar before you can return for free in 30 days. I think: switch designs their kites to only fly well on...

Re: Firewire Vader

Hi Guys, Food for thought. I have now been riding the Vader for over a year 5'1 ,22.9 l I weigh 160# the board is a perfect volume for me in all conditions. 10-35 knots I recently rode the 4'11 Evo 21.8 l this board felt so floaty compared to my Vader it blew my mind. Volume distribution - rocker -o...

Re: Switch Nitro review?

Hi Guys, Its very simple. Kite brands design their kites around their bars. How ever every kite can be flown on different bars and will most likely have a different feel. I can honestly say I have years under my belt testing different kites on different bars and boy does it make a difference. If you...

Re: FireWire vanguard ?

Mr Yoda, Looking at your board after a year of use . It looks great. The boards a built proof compared to other boards out there. A normal surfboard would be broken in half by now. A little bit of care with cleaning off your wax clumps and not bang stuff on it when putting in in the car will also pr...
