Only used the 12 atom. Yuck. Spongey and slow. Bar pressure could be lower.
Instinct is just about to be updated so you'd have to wait.

Why not get a 8m Sonic? If you like the 11 then the 8 will be a perfect fit.

OK. I made the changes and the kite is heaps more stable and now jumps pretty well and still rides the waves and turns well BUT by moving the bridle down I have effectively lengthened the front lines and I have to depower the kite to at least half to stop stalling when I power up. Do I just lengthen...

Isn't the idea that you would come out of your strap before that happened?

personally i have been pleasently surprised by the SB2 - it think size for size it turns better than the CB2 and while it doesn't have the raw pull in the bar and get power like the CB2 - it has better kite speed and you can send it and get jumps and the SB2 almost automatically locks into a glide ...

Sorry but I don't know why they didn't upgrade.
One has Xbows and the other has a big xbow and a 9m SB.
No argument with your assesment of the differences.

Can you tell us whether you ride mostly flat water or waves? What size board do you use? Before going on let's make one thing clear. The sonic is NOT a classic bow with pulleys everywhere. It is a high aspect ratio SLE with a clever and relatively simple bridle with a 1:1 steering. Not having flown ...

I have it set up the way you suggest now. Not so tricky depending on the size of the loop compared to the size of the pullley. The last 2 days have been forecast 25-33kn in the afternoon and both days have had no wind so I am starting to get frustrated. the forecast is good for the weekend so let's ...

Thanks everyone. I found a couple of things wrong with my setup. The A-KPO inner attachment to the LE was on the wrong point (too central) also there seems to be two factory issues of the line I have coloured purple. One with an "eye" at both ends (hence Brag calls this the tricky part) and one with...

Thanks Bekite. I've numbered the knots just to be sure. You suggest moving the attachment at 5 to the knot 6 and the attachment at 2 to knot 1. Correct? Is this the same as yours Brag? http://www.seabreeze.com.au/gallery/gallery/Kitesurfing/20420.jpg Your help is greatly appreciated. Have a great 20...
