Re: Best Kahoona x North Evo

My 2010 Kahoona has a tendacy to twist after a crash which i blame on the 2-strut design. A kit with a central strut wouldnt do this. Now i would avoid any kite having 2 struts and no central strut.

Re: Mauritus and Reunion in August?

Mauritius - There should be consistent trade winds at this time. Contact JC at Son of Kite. Aim for the South West near Le Morne, or the North, North East. Reunion -don't know but hear it is sharky with few lagoons available.

Re: Kite position while riding a directional surfboard

Perfect topic. I tried riding my directional like a TT last week because i didnt know any other way. I did end up looking like i was doing a wheelie and was sluggishly pulling the back end of the board through the water, and it certainly wasnt fun. Luckily i was only riding it for 5 minutes to go an...

Re: Opinions on North Dice?

I got the Dice 12m a few days ago on a demo, and bought it following an awesome session in 18mph winds. I found it very stable, and responded to my input as required, easy re-launch after crashing, good upwind - I was going upwind as good as everyone else on other brand 12m kites. I'm only just tryi...

Re: Rank these kites

Thanks. Yes i know everyone likes different things. I guess its a mini survey to see the most popular kite (popular in terms of liking it, not most bought or rented). If loads of people highly rank the Dice, for example, then surely i can't be too unhappy with my purchase unless i was wanting a spec...

Rank these kites

Hi. I want to buy a 12-13m freeride and occasional wave kite for an intermediate level (with bar). Easy relaunch, decent upwind, good in gusts, decent low end, and some fun wanted. My options are endless and i'm so confused. Please help me by ranking the following kites without any comments. Only la...
