Re: Tona Flow?

Could you give a breakdown of sizing? They're long boards, I guess because of the rocker. I'm 185 lbs. (84 kg.) I'm not looking for a lightwind board, but also don't need a board that I can only ride at the top end of my kites. what size would be good for me with straps? what about with boots? Than...

Re: Tona Flow?

I got mine. Keep in mind I am biased because I am a rep. I actually asked to be a rep because I love their boards so much. I also ride boards from slingshot, liquid force, and north. I now prefer the Flow as my main board, over my pop and any other board. Things I like about it: 1. Brainless loading...

Re: Fuel 2015 bridle

I disagree that it is a marketing "gimmick" because they aren't hyping this or claiming it is a radical new design. It's just a nice addition to an already great kite. It improves the range of the Fuel a lot without compromising its C-kite characteristics. Yea it's basically the 2014 + a bridle. Tha...

Re: Slingshot RPM 14m vs Fuel 13m 2014

I don't own a 14 RPM , but I have flown one on several occasions. I used to own a 13 fuel, now I am all RPM. The 14m RPM is MUCH bigger than the 13 fuel, but its depower capability is on another level compared to the fuel. There is no way I believe the high end is greater on a 13 fuel vs 14rpm. For ...

Re: kite pump design concept v_02

really we shouldn't be using piston/shaft based pumps, at least not for the initial portion of kite inflation.

I wonder if you can design a pump that uses a turbine/fan to get volume in the kite first, and then you can switch it to a compression mode.

Re: Slingshot RAD 2014 quality :/ both Bindings ripped

Sorry to go of topic but how well do 2014 systems hold up in general I should have been clearer in my post. What fell apart for me was not the system bindings, but the boots (process). They began tearing at sticking seams much like the RADs pictured here, but I am pretty sure it is 100% cosmetic on...

Re: Slingshot RAD 2014 quality :/ both Bindings ripped

The only boots I've not had fall apart are my ronix franks. I've had Ones, SS Rads, and systems to name a few. My systems were warranted thank hyperlite.

Wake boarders don't nearly spend as much time riding as we do. A 3 hour session is like what to them- 1 hr of water time?

Re: Road Shower

um LOL on getting a "dancer" for some of their shots. I got this for my wife on her birthday: http://r1.coleman.com/ProductImages/Full/2300-700_500.jpg Coleman Hot water on demand. I have no idea how it works, but hopefully it works well enough to stoke us out on those cold front southerly days.

Re: Gusty/unhooking/light wind: 2013 12m or 14m RPM vs 13m F

yea they have amazing range and gust handling capability compared to the fuels - it is really no comparison here.

grunt - yes that too. my 12 pulls just as hard as my 13. I don't ever ride my 13 anymore.

Re: Gusty/unhooking/light wind: 2013 12m or 14m RPM vs 13m F

I have a '13 12m RPM and a 2011 13m fuel. I think they are pretty identical in terms of low end, maybe the edge goes to the RPM. Overall, definitely the RPM. What's your weight/board size? I'm at 180 and ride a 140x40'sh board with boots and I would go with the 12 RPM over the 14 at my spot. We tend...
