Re: Maui, Kanaha a shark attacked a unmanned kiteboard

Hi. Rido I'm pretty curious: in what area of the spot did you see the shark? Naish beach, the Bone Yard or kite beach? Last year in November during a supping session my brother spotted a big tiger just on the right channel of Kanaha. Hard to know what it's happening. Someone has strange theories re...

Re: Upwind technique on Mako

Re: Upwind technique on Mako

Short answer - yes. Long answer - how have you ridden a 150 and not know how to go upwind? I was reaching a point of my tacks getting close and closer together, it then started getting dark. I also had to go further downwind because another beginner had problems water starting. So I didnt want to h...

Re: Maui, Kanaha a shark attacked a unmanned kiteboard

There was apparently a 10-12 foot tiger shark spotting at Kanaha yesterday....

I thought I saw something big and gray under the water as I was kiting over it. I am glad I am up and riding now rather than drifting down wind trying to water start -_-

Re: Maui, Kanaha a shark attacked a unmanned kiteboard

It seems as the population of the world increases, so do the number of deaths.

hmmm
maybe they should post a % of shark attacks in the world based off the total number of people?
