Re: most durable 2mm gloves

Ride Engine has the best 2mm neoprene kite specific glove (radically curves fingers) that I've found and used thus far. Durability is much better that some other kite branded gloves from my experience. YMMV http://www.rideengine.com/2mm-Gloves_2 Glad to hear the vote of approval, Da Yoda. I finally...

Re: Hydrofoil Videos

I've been waiting a while to have the time to edit this footage. A really nice sunset session on Isla Holbox Filmed by David HB with his droneskills and Cathy with her floating skills - Much appreciated guys. Wind was a little light for the 7 edge but it worked surprisingly well https://youtu.be/pk...

Re: Hallelujah

I just finished a session this morning where I was getting my first heelside to toeside carve and it was pretty awesome! So nice not to have to stop/sit/flip every time you want to change direction! I found myself laughing, b/c I've been kiting so long that I'd forgotten what it was like to be worri...

Re: Extreme Kitesurf Accidents

I know the guy that crashed onto the rocks and he's ok. He had to stay off a leg for about a week if I remember right, but could've been significantly worse. He was kiting *just* upwind of a jetty and found a rock that was a little in front of the wall. The sudden stop ejected him and, well, you've ...

Re: Neil Pryde Glide Reports/Reviews?

*Disclaimer-I sell these and others... Slappysan, I rode this foil at the dealer meeting in the Bahamas back in June. Prior to that, I'd only ridden the Double Agent a couple of times, but mostly the Hoverglide. I found it to be MUCH easier to get up on and super stable. It was the first time that I...

Re: Back to the roots of hydrofoiling ?

Nice topic gentlemens. I have a huge respect to the pioneers that succeed to fly on a HF; when you think again at how hard it is to start and foil-up, now assuming that you don't have the knowledge that others succeeded before you, you need an unlimited self-confidence and courage to keep thinking ...

Re: A case for full face?

in kiting is you have a power source that pulls you away from the foil in wipeouts. A frequent issue (discussed by many here) is the board chasing you down after a forward fall and striking you in the head with speed, while you're floating in the water. ie: my avatar ;) Yes, as a matter of fact, I ...

ideaR's - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1401357387/bubble-hat/?ref=kicktraq Sorry to hear about the injury but some things are just not practical. Holy crap, I thought this was a joke, but I guess not! You can be safe to play football, but you'll have to look like the Juggernaut! ...

Re: PSA: Check your harness - Friend of mine got luck, really lucky

*Disclaimer: I sell pretty much all these harnesses This is something that I've seen before on many harnesses, including Dakine, and many of my own. It usually happens on the side that doesn't open on the harness. Most people (myself included before I figured out what was happening) only loosen the ...
