Re: Dakine option spreader

Gdday folks! My Mystic Warrior is about to fall apart after 5 years of abuse :thumb: ...Still going strong, but and I'm afraid its going to break on a windy day. I ride mostly strapless freestyle and some waves. Want to buy a Dakine C1 harness with option spreader bar. And my question is this. The ...

Re: Prodigy??

Not that it really matters, but I am also in the process of renewing my quiver and plan 17m/12m Flites and 9.5m and 7m Prodigys. I have the 12m coming and would have the rest but both my kids just had wisdom teeth removed, so I gave all my money to an oral surgeon who is probably kiting on new kite...

Re: Prodigy??

I would go 12m flite and 17m. I have also thought of dumping my 17m , But on those low teen days it can be a game changer. I find the 12m flite needs around 14mph to make it worth while were you can stay up wind and practice some move. The 17m can do the same around 11mph IMO. ALL of that!! :thumb:

Re: Oahu Dream Holiday

I used to live there years ago and my go to kites were 12 & 16. I'm 105 kg, so heavier than you. And kites are significantly better now than back then. But, Oahu isn't Maui. Slappysan is right about the 2 main spots. Kailua is easy to get to and very beautiful/family friendly beach. Mokes is...not s...

Re: Prodigy??

Disclaimer: I sell these and many others... Matth, Last year I had the Flite 17/12/8 combo and have now shifted to the 17/12 Flite and 9.5/7 Prodigy. I flew the CRAP out of my 9.5 while I was in the OBX a couple of months ago. I have always liked that 9.5 Prodigy anytime I've ever been on them in th...

Re: Cabrinha Apollo Rider Reviews and Experiences.

Juan, I have just started using the 2017 Apollos. So far, I've spent time using the 12m and the 9m. I have a 7m that I haven't had a chance to use yet. The Apollo is comparable to the Ozone Edge. They are both extremely high aspect LEIs that are good for racing and foiling, among other things. I ag...

Re: Xr5 6m or 5m Boost 2 top end ??

I'd recommend checking out the 7m XR5, before deciding that the 6m is the one for you should you opt to go with Core. A friend has the 7m and it is a massive jump down from the 9m XR5 and when compared with a 7m Ozone Edge V9, both inflated, it sat inside it....! I can say from experience that the ...

Re: Atlanta kiting

Lake Lanier North of Atlanta Georgia Vanns Tavern Park or Old Federal Park depending on wind. There is also a FB group Atlanta Kiteboarding. Clew In ^^^What Clew In said. I've trained a number of Atlanta area folks to kite due to our proximity/beginner-friendly learning area and always point them o...

Re: WOO on Android problem, needs Google Account?

I guess I don't see the big deal. I mean, OK, if you don't like google for its "big brotheriness", I can understand that. So just don't use it for anything else other than the Woo. Maybe that would somehow introduce some other undesirable monitoring of whatever you're up to, but I don't know. Beside...
