Re: Airstyle kite size in 25 knots

Hi,

Im 78kg and use 14 Screamer in winds with guests up to 25knots (long lines 32 and either on small board 126x36 or normal board)

If guests go to +25 knots I change to 10m Dyno 2011 and 33m lines on small board. If guests go beyond 30 I change to wakestyle.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! What do you think how the 15.5m version would do with a foil?

Cheers

Re: The right trim for the Dyno 2011

HI Tobi,

thanks for bringing this up, thats very helpful.

How do I set the kite to full power when I have the bar all the way down towards? By adjusting anyting on the wing-tipps? Or the briddle?

Thanks for your advise,

Re: Up-to-date list of Top Airstyle kites

Hi, me again. Quick question, how do you like the Dyno 2011 18 sqm vs the 16 sqm? Im thinking about using it for the range 20-25 knots with my 80 kg. Whats your experience with it? Folks say the depower isnt as good as with the 18 Dyno? But what about the airstyle characteristics, does it go high an...

Re: Up-to-date list of Top Airstyle kites

Morning, I did test the new Draft 17 at Lake Como in winds around 20 knots and here are my two cents: - very high bar pressure - did move slot but not too slow - very good de-power - nice lift but not super high (my technique isnt very good nevertheless on the 18 Dyno and the 14th Screamer I get hig...

Re: Up-to-date list of Top Airstyle kites

Actally this is a good poin!

Is a 5th line solution the best one for a large (15-18sqm) AS kite? And what is the best solution for smaller AS kites (15sqm>)? 4 lines better for smaller AS kites?

Cheers

Re: Up-to-date list of Top Airstyle kites

hi, in the meanwhile I got myself a Screamer 14 and here are the first impressions (two sessions, one in fair winds with 2ß-25 knots and one in light wind 8-12 knots - my weight is 78kg): - 14sqm are fine for 25 knots (like the official windrange says). even on a large board (138x44) full control - ...
