Re: Nash Trip as budget friendly lightwind option..

Back to the interesting question: Do the Trip have more power/grunt than the Bandit, both in 10 m2? As said, you will get a lighter kite that can hang easier when sub 10 knots, but you might not get a kite where you can ride in less wind than your bandit - maybe just the opposite  Noone has an...

Re: Kite Board Hydro Foils available NOV 2018

Thoughts? https://www.forty1kitesurfing.co.uk/hydrofin-design/ R H Quite interesting in fact RH, if you can get a better low end, and still ride in shallow spots :thumb: Not interesting for the typical kite foiler no, but for TT riders that want better low end not needing huge kites maybe? 8...

Re: KeNalu sale

Yikes! That replacement fuselage ain't cheap at $325. Unfortunately this highlights to me that, as sexy as this foil is and despite how much I want it, I am smarter to stick with my Slingshot, for the cheap and readily available spare parts. I am impressed by their commitment to interchangeable com...

Re: Fone convertible drag?

Convertible boards will work just fine for hydrofoils :thumb: Thick rails are easy to waterstart strapless no issue whatsoever when you have learned - only for the beginner, it gives more trouble strapless, but then again beginners dont learn strapless, and if they try to the low volume boards are n...

Re: Nash Trip as budget friendly lightwind option..

No experience with the Trip, no. But I doubt you can go lower than with your Bandit :-? It might be lighter and be easier to keep flying in sub 10 knots indeed, but it would (probably) not have more power, maybe less in fact, so if you can ride in 10 knots with your bandit, I can not see you go lowe...

Re: Mast length....?

I think you will get many different answers here, at least till now.... I use a 91,5 cm "short" mast often, with my 1200 Surf wing if a bit lighter wind, other times I use a 100 cm mast, 50/50 I think. These are the ones I change between whether I want a short one or not. My 83 cm is too short, I NE...

Re: Anyone working on frontrolls?

No responses yet - I think many are not sure what you are asking? Are you solely asking about how to get momentum for double or triple frontroll boardoffs? As in the video, he is not doing any clean frontrolls at all, straight jumps or boardoff frontrolls, usually double :naughty: Really rare I ride...

Re: some proper Wave foiling with a Kite

Yes, so true, riding waves, as well as "surfing" in any way, is all about glide at first, the initial stoke :D And then the next level that keeps the stoke going, is carving, driving fast power carves, or tight wave and acceleration driven carves - that is what makes it all sensational forever, and ...
