Thought this was forum about kiting.

I'll go back to my racism in the media forum to discuss racist kite design.

It sounds like the rider's weight has a lot to do with what I observed. The Speed 17 rider weighs more than I do but I am not sure how much. I'll just have to stay away from doughnuts and big macs and I should be OK. Chris Go vegetarian like me. 6'4" 230 lbs eat loads of grub got almost no body fat...

I'll make this one short. Black makes you a looter white means you just found/borowed etc... "Welcome into the arms of America" Bono, U2 I work in the media.... it's biased, racist, chauvenistic and supererficial. Above all they want it like that. Remember in the US the richest country in the world ...

I have a Speed 17 and a Venom 19. The Speed 17 is far better than the Venom 19 in low wind. In low wind I fly the V19 on 45meter lines and I have only flown the S17 on standard lines (24 meters I think). There is no comparison. The biggest difference is the upstroke. In really low wind the V19 dies ...

Dakine Fusion

I have a Dakine Fusion.
Like the way it fits and sopports the lower back.
You can also get a Dakine bar pad.
There are also bars with the hook on a hinge that lets the hook swing up and down so that the bar doesn't twist up.

Cheers

Flysurfer Speed and Upwind

Hi I recently got a Flysurfer Speed 17 and I went from being able to stay upwind to racing upwind. The Speed goes upwind effortlessly. I now kite to different parts of the beach to find more wind or ride waves far from swimmers. The first time I rode the Speed was at Belmont Shores in Long Beach, CA...

Ride fast, upwind, better jumping/floating = foil Full safety, faster more direct turning speed = bow kite. Depends really what you want. I would not be too sure about the full safety on the X-Bow. I have read about lines getting tangled and the kite going into a death spin and not because of a bad...

Self rescue, range and upwind

i as an instructor i cannot recomend foils as it is virtually impossible to do a self rescue with one, as they have no floatation or 'structure' of their own personally i think they fly very bad, and thay your much better off with a good lei however i have only flown a physco2 16 once, and hated it...
