Re: Traceup no longer working X3

They started off well and then when I started having issues initially were responding and now nothing. I don't think they are supporting the device any more and sadly probably to be considered defunct.

Re: Flysurfer Soul

This is not a perfect comparison as I used Ozone up until the Soul. However my experience is that the low end power of the Soul is slightly better than the low end of a 13m Chrono V2, so definitely comparable to a 13 rather than 11 I’d say. Also being a faster turning kite I find I can work it a bit...

Re: Soul 12M in low wind behaviour

I started using a Soul 12m for light and medium winds recently and I can honestly say it has not once done anything like you describe, either overflying or hindenburging. In fact I would go as far to say it is way the most reliable kite I have ever used, and will put up with me doing stuff that woul...

Re: Upgrading to a new board

This as ever is basically a ‘tell me what you ride which is the best thing ever until you get your next board which will then be the new best thing ever’ but anyway...love my Lieuwe Shotgun if you want something a bit special.

Re: Woo3 and Xensr compared

Unless your spot is atypical I doubt this is the case. Jumping high is easier than doing tricks so inevitably you’ll only see a small proportion of riders doing fancy stuff. I see very few Woos attached to boards around the various places I kite so there’s no way they are changing the habits of most...

Re: New foil kite in a hail storm

It may slide a little but it's still easier than just grabbing back lines with the kite high, making it shoot through the power zone on the way down. If you can get it to where the tip is touching the ground and then gently pull both back lines, obviously a bit more on the back line at the upper end...
