Re: Board for choppy conditions

If you want a more conventional board that is great in chop you should take a look at the brokite hybrid 135. They put a lot of rocker as well as a lot of flex in the board and they just eat up the nasty stuff. Light as a feather as well. I think mine weighs around 4.5 lbs. They are custom built as ...

Re: Switch Element3 or Nitro4

I wouldn't say the Nitro 4 is hard to relaunch. It just takes longer for the kite to work to the edge of the window to launch.

Re: Switch Element3 or Nitro4

I have a 10m nitro 4 and only have two sessions on it so far in wind from about 15mph to around 25. I'm very impressed so far. It's got great low end and I was able to ride a twin tip in about 15 and actually get upwind and jump a bit. It's extremely stable in the air and very forgiving. The only is...

Re: Ultimate All Carbon Twin tip?

I demoed a 135 hybrid last weekend. I live in Corpus so it's pretty easy to get a demo ride. Compared to my 134 freeride it is much different. It coasts through the lulls much better, turns a little better as it coasts much better than the freeride, and has a lot more pop. As with all bro's it has ...

Re: Ultimate All Carbon Twin tip?

. If you buy a board that has a wood core, you just bought a pretty piece of plywood. If you get a chance, try out a bro. Bring money because you'll probably buy one. There is no doubt the brokite construction is glorious. The I-beam stringers are a stroke of genious..... The board is cutting edge....

Re: Ultimate All Carbon Twin tip?

I've had a brokite freeride 134 for about 4 years now. I've ridden crazyfly, liquid force, slingshot, and even made a board. The brokite rides like nothing else. The bro doesn't just absorb chop, it springs over it. It is also the best turning board out there. You can pull some g's with these things...

Re: Help switching Feet on Surfboard Before I Turn.

Somebody mentioned straps. I would recommend taking them off while learning jibes. You will find it much easier to switch feet. Also, once you see how it's not too difficult to ride without straps anyway, you'll probably leave them off for good.
