Re: Red itchy eyes *only* in warm/tropical water (even with goggles), why?

Well having lived in a sunny area for a while and having seen a variety of people including myself getting sunburnt eyes...I'm not making shit up. For me, the suncream is not the problem because I do not get red eyes when wearing proper sunglasses. I do not think it is the water, because going out i...

Re: Naish Slash 2018 vr Naish Slash 2019

I have had my new 2019 Naish Slash 7m out in some ok wind now and as promised, thought I’d post a review. Have only flown the 2018 Slash once in the 8m so have a better comparison to the 2018 Pivot 7m. Rider: Intermediate/advanced, 85kgs, natural. Board: FireWire Vader 5.1 Bar/lines: BTB 55 on rope...

Most of the time its getting sunburned. Are you using decent sunglasses? It could be sun lotion, but probably its the sun.

Re: How to stack boards for transport

Any ideas how to stack one directional and two twintips without damaging them? I don't wanna remove the fins. I was thinking on having some soft towels between the boards, but are there any better solutions? The boards will be inside a roof box, tied with straps so they don't move around. Well the ...

Re: Felt like I Nearly Drowned

So glad you are okay. New gear and new spot might just be a recipe for disaster. Big surf changes the game radically. Swimming to the kite is the last thing you should do in surf, getting tangled in lines is a major risk, and it will chop limbs off. If you are way way off shore, then consider if rel...

All this said the voting doesn't necessarily impact the decision of whom is accepted.

Re: Vote for Dimitri KOTA video

Dimitri probably will not get in. His video does not follow KOTA judging rules, very few landings on megaloops are presented. Video is too long. I believe he still has the time to re-submit a 120 seconds video.....here's how to shave 45 seconds of it ( And change the title to.... 49 years old Dimit...

Re: 2018 Naish Slash

The Pivot will probably have a better/higher resale value, and that's probably why it's the more expensive of the two kites you are looking at. as there are more people interested in a Freeride, Boosting, Wave kite. than a kite marketed as Wave orientated. I weigh 76K and my largest kite is a 12 Pi...
