Re: Officially announced: North becomes Duotone

They own the Name NORTH and were licensing it to a German company "boards and more" for windsurf and kite-boarding products. There was a dispute over royalties. So "boards and...

Re: Officially announced: North becomes Duotone

It all stays the same, just instead of North it's now Duotone. Same team on land and on water. Do you know this for sure? I mean if I were North Sails or whatever the name is they have an advantage right now to license that name away again fast. To me that advantage is a short window. My point is t...

Re: Officially announced: North becomes Duotone

They used to be in the North factory right? Will they be produced there still? If not what can we expect in te...

Re: When things go bad!

This is good stuff and should be an important part of many kiters kit.

So a buddy of mine makes these: http://seerescuestreamer.com/

There is a small version I think can be a great addition to the kit.

Re: Is anyone else buying carbon credits to offset CO2 from travel?

Thank you for responding as it helps to have a scientist's viewpoint. But by you referencing one of my posts, but quoting another of my posts, you are at least confusing, or at most intentionally misdirecting. Please let me know if, from the view of a scientist (you), my below response to Greenturt...

Re: Is anyone else buying carbon credits to offset CO2 from travel?

Reel it back in M&M. You have some great points, but this is what I was talking about. A troll following another troll into the gutter is not something that gives credibility to any argument. And yes, sometimes I have to take my own advice. Hey Matteo. You are asking for scientists. I am one (even ...

I was wondering if someone got the chance to ride this foil, to me it looks sweet.
Nice to see the big brands showing new equipment.
I agree. Looks awesome. Saw it in Langeree's last video. Also definitely see sigma design here :-)
It'll be fun to see the entire linup.

The only time I ever washed my kite was when a bird took a huge dump on it. To me the drying is a PITA.

Re: Short lines on big kites

Hi guys I have Cabrinha Switchblade 11m2 and 2 bars. I wonder if it makes sense to attach shorter lines to my second bar to use my 11m2 as an equivalent of 9m2 instead of buying another kite? It has following advantages: 1. I don't need to buy a new kite but only new lines 2. I don't need to carry ...
