Re: How hard?

Very funny, but that's the kind of method I'm trying to get away from. Put another 10 pumps in and the flick sounds even better, but which one is better for the kite? Too subjective and prone to too much variance day to day. Yeah I agree. I do wish I would trust the gauge. It is the only way we can...

Re: How hard?

Is there a universal way to know how much air to put into a kite? Not taking about trusting a $1.00 pump gauge or the finger flick to leading edge (too subjective for my liking). Rather a sure fire method for evaluating no matter the brand, to at very least get you reasonably close. I believe I ten...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Thanks. It appears the android app doesn't yet support the gps or editing which is a shame but I found the csv file with all the data automatically stored. Lat Lon speed etc. will play around when I get the chance. Impressive. The setup with the linemount is slick and tangle free. the quick release...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Jugglajon, that is sweet footage. TBH, I am not interested in dealing with a manual stabilizer on the GoPro. I think the Revl make the gopro look like it was made a decade ago. As far as I know the Revl also has a lot of extra info on like GPS positioning and speed measurements. Did you experiment w...

Re: Any tips on building a foilboard...

You get a lot more reasonably priced boards than that.
I have this: http://www.mackiteboarding.com/2018-nai ... oil-board/

I've seen other boards in the same price class-ish.

Yea, pretty much the same thing....
Yup.

In other news, what a mess this whole thing is. Id like an organixation that can help speak on behalf of kiters and rally where needed, but apart from that all the moaning is just dumb.

Re: Which bar for shorter hands

The Naish bars have a movable sugarcube so that the bar does not slide all the way up. I dunno what it is called. It is a fixed stopper. Super neat solution.
