Re: Ankle fusion helps kitesurfer

Is this propaganda for socialized medicine? Just asking because our news tends to report on newer procedures that are either less invasive or offer better outcomes.

Glad he's getting back to it. ... eplacement

Re: Could someone please invent a better way to self land a kite in high wind.

Flysurfer Peak Reef Line Ozone Summit internal reride 5th line Could a similar concept work with inflatable kites? My thought is above some wind speed self landing and emergency shut off become more important than water relaunch. FWIW my deep water relaunch success rate w Ozone Summit open cell foil...

Re: How to lift our foils steadily?

I'm a beginner so my advice is based on a very small amount of experience but this has helped me get through the painful wipe out phase. More time taxiing on the surface helps me as an early learner. I find if I get up on foil too soon everything explodes. Therefore I make a conscious choice to go 2...

The leaf blower review was better. Way more stoke. I'm taking my 600 and buying the EGO and a beachball. :jump:

Re: Flag out line not long enough

There is an elastic bungee in the safety taking slack. It could be too short if you lengthen the center depower with a home cooked bar but it would be plain to see when the kite is in flight. I doubt this is causing uneven shrink between front lines. More likely from looping kite only one direction ...

Foiling in big seas and high winds reminds me a lot of snowboarding the moguls.
Oh. That is awful.

Re: New foil from Ozone

Just came in from a sunset hydrofoil session with winds more in the force 2 than force 3 range. Zero whitecaps. Sensors reading between 6 and 9 mph. The 9 meter Hyperlink on 30 meter lines delivered beautifully. I nailed my first clean surface jybes. I can't see the need for a larger kite at this ti...

Re: Ozone Hyperlink vs. Airush Ultra

I flew a demo Ultra 9m back to back with my Flysurfer Speed4 Lotus 10m a few months ago. Was riding in light onshore wind with sloppy winds well and a thruster surfboard. This month I decided to purchase an Ultra and the local shop had no stock with no anticipated future date. I ended up leaving wit...
