Re: Zeeko ultimate bar no clamcleat no depower straps?

So, without the toggle you just grab the 8mm Amsteel line and pull it? Is it a problem to get a grip without any kind of gadget on the line (like on the zeeko bar)? Is this a reason why you use such a thick line, i guess it is easyer to get a grip on a 8 mm than on a 5 mm line. I wonder why there is...

Re: Zeeko ultimate bar no clamcleat no depower straps?

I know this is an ancient thread, but I spent quite a bit of time with my DIY version of the zeeko powerline adjustment system the past few weeks. My original idea was to use an on-the-bar trim toggle as described here http://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2393451, but I've gotten rid of the toggle ...

Re: Looking for Naish Alien 121, North M2 or other old small mutant board

Hey I know of a few in Hawaii, but shipping from HI will be super expensive. Maybe if you try the importers or shops they might have something laying around. I might ask the importers, but i doubt that i will find such an old board in a shop in Europe... Any idea how much the shipping from Hawaii w...

Looking for Naish Alien 121, North M2 or other old small mutant board

Does someone have one of the small mutant boards laying in the garage, and would sell it to me? Something like Naish Alien 121, North M2 or similar? Possibly in Europe. Send me a PM.
Hope I am not breaking any forum rules here. If I am, please delete my topic Toby and sorry!

Re: Storm voyager 4

Well, I have a Voyager 2 generation, strutless. And the opposite line technic is what I find best in marginal winds. It works in very little wind, even when trying to reverse does nothing. So I was just wondering, if that can be done on a high Y bar since I never used one. All my bars are "V" - two ...

Re: Storm voyager 4

Nice review Peter!
Can you do a "diagonale opposite line relaunch technic" with a high Y split lines? I find this the best technic to rise a kite from water in really light wind.

Re: Pocket board width

Peter,
Yes, the Ketos board is for sure one that I would like to try someday...
I have ridden a few hydrofoil specific boards (Alpine, Moses, Temavento), but I find all of them to bulky - too wide and too thick. Maybe I am just used to ride a (too) narrow board...

Pocket board width

Hi, What is the width of your pocket board (100 to 130 in length)? They all seem pretty wide to me. I am using a board 38cm wide, and can not imagine why more width would do any good. When you are up, you must be more or less centered right? I understand if it is for better start from the water, but...
