Re: Storm voyager 4

Nice review Peter!
Can you do a "diagonale opposite line relaunch technic" with a high Y split lines? I find this the best technic to rise a kite from water in really light wind.
Greetings!

Re: Pocket board width

Peter,
Yes, the Ketos board is for sure one that I would like to try someday...
I have ridden a few hydrofoil specific boards (Alpine, Moses, Temavento), but I find all of them to bulky - too wide and too thick. Maybe I am just used to ride a (too) narrow board...
Greetings,

Pocket board width

Hi, What is the width of your pocket board (100 to 130 in length)? They all seem pretty wide to me. I am using a board 38cm wide, and can not imagine why more width would do any good. When you are up, you must be more or less centered right? I understand if it is for better start from the water, but...

How do you repair such wings? Will epoxy stick to it?

Re: Slingshot Foot Hook vs NSI Foot Hooker

I am using the old Predator surf hook for 3 years and it still looks strong. I cut half of it off in first year, since it is to long and getting in the way otherwise. It is a shame they do not produce them anymore, they could sell well these days...

Did you get some before?

Re: Life Jackets/impact vests

I have this one: http://www.gunsails.com/neoprene/buoyan ... t-one.html and I like it. It goes well with a harness (flat lower part) and looks to bo build well. The pricing is really good to.

Re: Production carbon mast composition

I broke my Moses Vorace mast yesterday and got to see the construction...clearly two halves bonded with a thin white foam core. I believe the engineering of carbon is all about the skin and not a core...but wondered if some are solid layers of carbon? I would think layup would be difficult to do so...
