pee'd once in my wet suit, then used 100% bleach to clean it, now the crotch area is white. Naw, just kidding. :) Which leads me to ask, how about a wet suit with Orca whale black and white graphics? Would that be cool or what? Besides the shark hazzard, another problem is, if you don't rince well e...

Say, Grossi, I just started looking up UV resistand lazer and ink jet. Looks like there're specific products out there. You could have luck with your available lazer printer, worth a try. See if you can look up any info on the toner cartridge that your printer uses. I did try abstract mixing of Kryl...

What did you use to seal the paper to the board?? did you just use epoxy or did you use some sort of gel coat or clear coat that is uv protective? I'm making my boards with formica but want to start making them with our any advice would be great. On one, the rice paper decal was placed on top of ep...

square channels: they increase surface area, and the additional 90 degree corners create vortices and extra drag. Better to add long shallow fins to concave IMHO. now with some extreme number crunching machine, I imagine being able to develope exotic channels to compress and aerate. I doubt they'll ...

H K, good questions - I think you've touched on the main advantages of width. I really depend on wide boards because of the heavy load of techno geek regalia increases my all up weight to about 230lbs. (210x60, 184x55, 143x50, 135x45) Going wide helps to reduce length, then, when you need to handle ...

Re: anything but minwax should work

thanks from me also. Helpful info. The only problem with using dyes for stain is that they can fade much more quickly in the sunlight compared to something that uses pigments such as regular wood stains. Trent I used the rice paper decal method with excellent results. I wanted the look of artist's p...

Been using a West Marine brand, made in UK, gaget bag to hold a Garmin Gecko GPS , about the size of a small cell phone.

Has a very positive two piece plastic clamping bar to seal the bag. Works great.
You might be able to find it on the West Marine web page.
