i understand a carbon skin on both sides will make the the board equal in strength from each side ...

so when a board breaks ... 90% of the time its because the skin that resists the compressive forces collapses right ? and thats the top skin right ?

so i have just finished my first board ...

but now i was thinking that the boards compression forces where greater on the top of the board , so thats why i carbon skinned the top

the bottom having tension, i glassed

thoughts theories ?
