Re: is unhooked safer than hooked in?

I have broke my ribs several times during hook in jumps but never problems unhooked.

When you jump unhooked all your muscle is "tight" and therefore protect you body much better. ( at least when it comes to broken ribs )

Re: Slingshot RPM biggest weakness - trailing edge wear

The same happen to all our RPM we have in the school. After 1 season you can only use
them as spare parts.

Too weak construction on the trailing edge. SS please change that. We want a 50 g more heavy
kite we can use for more than 1 season.

Re: Cabrinha vs F One, North - 2013 kites

I have always hated Cabrinha because of heavy bar presure and slow turning, but the chaos is the first kite a like from Cabrinha. The bandit is a great kite but a shitty cheap bar / release system. Me and a friend tested the Chaos and Vegas 2013 and we both agree on rather spending 100 $ more and ge...

Re: Boracay Island, Philippine 2012 part 2

It looks like you had a great time there. :)

I wanted to go to Boracay for long time but I am afraid of all the colora bacteria in the water. Have they solv the problem ? or are the sewer still going directly in the water.

The rental price is 80 - 120 $ a day. You can rent it much cheaper from me but I dont know if I will be here so late at the season.

Re: Best kite spot in Mexico in mid january - mid march?

The wind is very good in La Ventana but the ocean is without fun. Super choppy and no waves.

The night life is a joke but the locals are very nice and friendly.

Re: In Tarifa for a month

For sure you need a full wet suit. You dont need a car but it is nicer. You can kite at the beach in Tarifa until June, then it is forbidden. Even in Lavante ( cross off shore ) we offen kite right in front of Tarifa main beach. Palmones 30 min away was my favorit. Nice flat water in a small arear. ...

Re: Rank of Kite Brands based on Popularity?

It all depende about local marketing and what kites you can get at that spot.

In Baja ( La Ventana ) I would say North is having around 75 %. They is a huge selection of north kites to buy there so it makes a different.
