I am still in the box for the 5th line..I have seen so many people bashing around in the water (not specific to Best) without being able to relauch using the fifth line....
I still using the old fashioed way to relaunch...which I am having more than enough problems with :-)

how about if height is a mix of all of the above...I jump higher than I did a year ago, and weigh about 30 pounds less...but I also have better technique, and equipment and better timing than before. I believe that weight plays a role, kite size plays a role, but I do think that technique and timing...

keeping old kites on the shelf actually costs money, maybe more so than you would assume. I know one of the local shops here are selling 3 year old kites here for $299, brand new...but nobody wants them....their problem is also that they would first want to sell the the new gear for top dollar..... ...
