Re: The new Eclispe Bar called "The Morph"

Well maybe above the bar trim strap is cool for unhooking, but below the bar trim is almost only option for people with shorter hands (usually girls). Also if trimming is below the bar, then you definately can have longer throw and thus have to trim almost only once. Dimitri- maybe you should create...

Re: Light wind set-up on RRD HT2 ?

if you think that you're propably oversheeting, you should pull the depower half/full way in and see how it changes flying characteristics of the kite.

Re: Trainer kites - Worth it or not?

trainers worthless? Dont think so, lets see- what should i do when someone i know asks me about kitesurfing (and it happens quite often) and says that he would like to try to have at least some feel for it, before deciding whether he likes it or not. What should I do? Give them my new '08 8m bow kit...

Re: GK SONIC 14mt 2007, what do you think

if the netherlands are as windy as i think they are (eg. no lots of sub 12 knots days), with your weight better go for 11m or even 8m (if you have decent light wind board).

Else for your weight you will feel _very_ powered in winds >=14knots and upper limit will be ~18 knots.

Re: We need a GK position on security issue

Little bit offtopic and more like question to Matt- havent you considered building 12.5m V-sonic? Why i'm asking is because if you're 70kg guy you can easily use 11m as your biggest kite (on lightwind board), if 90kg, then 14m is just ok, but if you're 80kg, then it's very hard to decide which one o...

Re: So who really pays?

eastcoastkite- then how much? $300, $400, $500? :) Also does it really takes more than $100 bucks to make kite in 5sqm and in 15sqm? But yes, I personally believe kites in retail _are_ overpriced and if you pay full price, bad for you. Imo retail price adds up to 40% price (eg. if dealer buys kite f...
