[quote] I started off storm kiting absolutely shitting myself. massive wind, bus sized swell. monster waves. Then i progressed to intense but fun but still shitting. Now i have pro...

Re: c kite sits further back in the window...

i hate the wake style setting on my c4. hate it!. the kite feels dull and slow and shit upwind. which i guess means its sitting further back in the window. on the standard setting is rocks, flys fast and good upwind.

im not an unhooking wakes styler so i don't want crappy flying kites.

Re: I really enjoy smashing a 30+ knots session

Pete you getting too technical. and devalueing our stoke with your beaufort scale quotes. ps you are wrong. beaufort lists a storm to be 48-55 knots, 56 to 63 is violent storm. so be sure of your data first before you devalue the stoke please ;}. In practice we call storm kiting a 35+ knots activity...

12-28 is less fun. ,,,. .. the lulls suck.

but add 10 knots to the baseline. 22-38.... lots and lots of fun. Feel that gust hitting.. usually you can see them on the water!. pull the trigger and booooost in the gust.

Re: Low end question!

Extensions will help some... I notice the difference on the 21, and prefer the longer lines on that kite. Why the North board? Have you thought about the Flydoor L... similar size and I KNOW they work well with Speeds :) The conditions of the water make a huge difference. Agreed, for ANY kite! yeah...
