Re: Kiting in Rodes, Greek

Hi, I have been to Rhodes many times, I have always stayed in Kiotari and kitesurfed in Prasonisi. Which is the other end of the island to rhodes town. Look up prasonisi on google earth and you'll see that there is a large sand bar, the wind only blows one direction, so one side is onshore wind and ...

Re: North Rhino a legacy discontinued or is Rebel the new Rhino?

I got 2009 7, 9 and 12 rhinos they are awesome all round kites, i wanted a kite to cover course racing, big air and wave riding and these kites do it all. Very pleasd with them. I like the grunt the rhinos have they help you get through the pumping swell, I have heard that the rebels don't have as m...

Re: North Race LTD 2010 ?

people are bent over in the stance as this is the way to sail the board upwind especially with the new 22cm fins which have hardly any cant, meaning the board is sailed flat. You need to be bent over the let the bar out to get the kite further round in the window to allow you an extra couple of degr...

Getting to Dakhla

I know there has been some other posts on how good it is at Dakhla, but can anyone tell me the average time It takes to get there? I know you have to fly from Heathrow to Casablanca then on from there but with the flights i have found it takes about 24hours is this generally the case. Cheers Stubbsy

Re: Unhooked jump?? please help

Thanks for all the replies. I would like to do both powered moves and big jumps under the kite (unhooked),. I don't have a problem with pop as I can quite comfortably do an unhooked raley which will hopefully progress to landing blind/surface pass. for big jumpsI think it is all to do with the timmi...

Re: Unhooked jump?? please help

Ok, thanks for the reply, If I trim the kite anymore (pull the depower strap) i seem to lose all power?
I don't think I have been sending the kite hard enough and possibly not had the kite high enough before I start. thanks for the advice, I'll give it a go next time we get some wind here in Wales..

Unhooked jump?? please help

Hi, I am just starting unhooking to try and do jumps, I can do an unhooked raley (where I don't move the kite), but when I unhook and send the kite up to do a jump, the kite won't go directly above me and I just end up not getting any pop and landing way downwind under the kite.
Any ideas.. please
