Re: 2014 Airush Sector V5 vs 2014 Cabrinha

I'm into strapless surfboard, and have a 5-8 Slingshot celeritas, and looking to add a board this year. Can you ride the sectors strapless ?? Haven't played around strapless on the Sector either, Julien Kerneur does a nice job throwing shuvits on it even with the fins. https://scontent-a-iad.xx.fbc...

Re: 2014 Airush Sector V5 vs 2014 Cabrinha

Those boards look sick! :thumb: The boards look sick, but also are really fun. I am not a big fan of the course racing boards, but the Monaro Slalom has a more jump-on-and-go feeling. Takes a few tacks to dial in but definitely get into it after a few minutes if you are familiar with Sectors. If yo...

Re: Airush 2014 Protoy 135 VS 2014 135 Livewire

Cross between a freeride and aggressive freestyle board, upwind performance, choppy and flat conditions,...which one to chose ? Hi Tedy, You might actually want to take a look at the Airush Apex 135. It will give you a blend of what you are looking for. It takes the rocker from the Livewire, so you a...

Re: Airush Cypher vs Xenon Prisma?

Well based on your feedback i would have to agree with Mike as well. You have the alternative bigger and smaller boards if you need them so the 5'4" in the onshore slop will be extremely fun to ride strapless. You can flip it around super easy and it will give you a good amount of buoyancy in the bi...

Re: Airush Cypher vs Xenon Prisma?

In the 5'4 lengths, I found out the Cypher is 2" thick and has their "Flying V" dual concave bottom shape. The Prisma is 2" thick as well with a single concave bottom shape. Both boards seem to be geared towards the same application, so I'm now just trying to narrow it down to ride quality and dura...
