Re: Kiteboarding RIP ?

Since you brought it up Started with a kite and a tt, went to a surfboard with straps, went to a surfboard strapless, went to a kite and foil, went to a wing and now back to a kite and surfboard. For me a high speed bottom turn and back up to a lip slide is still the best feeling on the water. As a...

Re: Review of Strategy in Side-off and big Wave Conditions

Yep, but not semi, strangle it! Obviously need to have the kite tuned appropriately and only really useful with small kites. To get a feel for backstall I recommend a couple of exercises for general free ride conditions. 1. Before a turn with kite fairly low, choke the kite hard. Then release it an...

But with a 5th line I assume it will fold later than a 4 line?
I had 3 rebels in the past and yes they inverted. I remember specifically a 8 m 4 strut 5 line rebel
When it happened a North pro told me to inflate the rebels always “like a rock”

Re: Low pressure in leading edge, what happens?

Low pressure leading edge + strong wind probably ends up in a kite inversion. (Kite inverted)
Fully depower trim from the clam cleat of the kite will help the kite to invert too.

Flying to these places without your surfboard, only kites. Is it difficult to rent there? Expensive?

Re: Do kites stay at the same pressure after hours?

After a kite gets rolled in the surf, it always feels softer. Could it be the air compressing during a session? Air escapes out through the connectors. When it gets rolled in the surf there's so much pressure that the air just squirts out and often you'll even pop open a one pump connector. :thumb:...

Exactly, when washed out in the surf they always loose pressure , dont know how. Or is just the materials that streched?

Re: Airush Session - share experiences and ask questions

Love my wave 9 mts, best kite ever, i use it from 15 knots to 28 or whatever, big wind range. Turn s in a dime. Super easy to loop..Fast! I t s always where i want him to be.
