The power comes from a fuller profile in the kite (struts) - the AR is slightly lower, but not much. So the low end grunt is extremely good (one kitesize better, at least), and you go upwind like on the Airblasts (because of the thin leading edge). But we have still not had a chance to test the uppe...

It's not always easy to untangle two kites where the lines are fully crossed (one kite inside the other). Have tried it myself two times, cause we are kiting so close together, that it can happen easily if we do jumps (especially aireal transitions) at the same time. We have no risk of hitting each ...

In the small sizes the kites becomes very similar (lower AR), so you can choose whichever type you prefer here. The new Hydro 2 has very low AR - so they should flick around and relaunch extremely fast. We have got two Hydro 2's - but not tested any yet. But I would still say, that in the smaller si...

Got the very first AMP 14 last week. Out today in perfect wind. It is a bloody Powerhouse ! I think this 14m2 has the same power as the Airblast 16m2( 11.8 )... The AMP 14 turns even faster than the Airblast 13.6m2(10.0). And one BIG difference: You can fly 100% on the backlines (with slack frontlin...

Aquaman - you can just wait till you get more experienced - then you don't need the stoppers ! In fact you don't WANT the stoppers - because you wan't to oversheet the kite on purpose either way... what I am saying is, that you might just as well get used to it now - instead of later. If you find it...

The problem is, that the companies who makes huge amounts of boards will have more "dogs" in their quiver... Naish has made some of the very best boards possible - extremely good. But they've also produced some mega flops, like their first wide silver wakeboard/TT. It did not work - compared to the ...

Good to hear that so many can agree that the standard fixed leash should not be used ! When I teach kitesurfing - I tell them NOT to use the leash, and explains why. Also - that it is way safer to wear a helmet, and IF using a leash - you HAVE to wear a helmet. But for very beginners (in shallow wat...

The RRD's are excellent regarding relaunching !

I've never seen kites like the RRD's, that turns by itself normally, and relaunches immediately...

Have no idea of the performance compared (maybe the North is on top ?) - but the RRD will just bounce off the water, and "refuse" to stay down - Great !
