Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Vid's here: http://blast.forumotion.com/t1526-blast ... ng-s-vid-s Hi mate, I don't understand- why do you de-power the bar during your jumps? I keep the bar fully powered up to get the maximum height and hangtime. Cheers Caesar 8) Hey Caesar, I think it's just when I have one hand on the bar for o...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

As an aside, Epic may want to revise their marketing style for the european market. The bold and brash 'Warning! Don't fly another kite...' etc. appears rather US-centric, and reminds me of the early days of Best's attempts at overseas engagement. Over here, we prefer to have our products punted to...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

windsuks.. Do you have demo Screamers? Might pop over in the new year (I'm from Kent, so not overly local) as I'm after a quiver of new kites and the screamer looks like it might suit my riding style perfectly.. (a bit old school!) . Yup we have a quiver of Screamer demo's here so no problem, just ...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

PS:I have to say one of the best parts of my Epic day was a 10 min conversation I had with Dimitri that started with kites but ended up on our kids and the simpler aspects of life. He is just like us except he owns the company and kites like a god. 8) That last bit sums up Dimitri well, super nice ...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Just had this feedback from a guy who tested the 3G 9m Screamer: I'd like to say thanks to Marc for letting me steel his 9m epic screamer for pretty much the whole day. Felt a bit bad handing it over after 4 hours then heading home not having to back it down I did try and return it earlier but every...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Hey windsuks that's a crazy high jump :o and it looks even more scary being a wintery UK shot. Have you got any video of it you must have some amazing hang time Hi Mate, yup had some great jumps with both the Renegades and the Screamers (and the Judge too) but man that Screamer is simply insane...w...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

Had an amazing session on the 3G 7m Screamer today, my first on the 7m......wow! This kite should come with a warning! I've had some amazing sessions on the 9m already but today's session wins hands down. I have never been on a kite that boosts so big and in particular floats for so long, amazing ha...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

We just had this feedback from one of our regular guys here in the UK Tried the 9m Epic Renegade - very impressed. Good stability but also very responsive on the turns. Wind was about 17 knots when I went in and I thought the 9m might struggle (I'm just shy of 14 stone) but fair play it kept me nice...
