maybe get a small kite, used is fine, and practice how to steer and control. If you have the feeling for it, use the Skoop, then you won't drop it as often as without practicing before. Always try to avoid full crashes, like when you loose control and the kites flies direct to the water and then it ...

depending on your skills and what you want from a kite.

If you want to jump and do transitions and don't drop the kite too much, take the X2.

If you drop the kite regulary and want to concentrate on riding, and easier handling in gusts, take the Aero.

everyone can do what they want to and how they want to, as long as they don't endanger others. So KC, go ahead of what you are doing, but take care so nothing happens to you. But for others, who didn't made the experience themselves yet, it is good to get some more infos about it and be warned about...
