P.S. I was the fastest student they ever had at KiteExcite in the DR. I was up and going on the board the first day in the water and staying upwind on day 2. Weeeeee!!! My "background" as a windsurfer called for a directional but I started on a twin tip. There is no need to use a directional unless you cant do it on a twintip. You are going to buy the twintip anyway. So, buy the twintip and give it a shot. If you cant hack it borrow or rent a directional.

Is the Rhino 2 8m going ot be "too much" for me. I am a beginner? I guess. I can go upwind on both tacks on a 160 wipika switcher(twin tip. ) I have a 16m Toro and a 12.1m Mach 1.I think the toro turns too slow. I like the responsiveness but not all the speed of the F-One.
