Huguenot is a great spot so I am really glad they got parts of it open again and let everyone use it. Seemed like a very kite friendly staff at the park as well.

Heading to Jacksonville next week and was wondering if anyone knows if you can kite in the pond at Huguenot. I know the park just re-opened but the website says the campgrounds and pavilions are still closed. Looks like west winds are likely next week so I hope its usable. Thanks for any info.

I like the Jay leg straps, but I hated the shorts that came with them. They were just awkward and made it a pain to adjust the leg straps. I just wear the leg straps over whatever shorts or wetsuit I am wearing.

You should not have your leash attached to the end of the trim line that you pull in on the compstick. Clip the leash to the metal ring at the CL that has the red webbing handle on it.
