Re: Slingshot RPM

According to what I see in the picture below, the 10m comes with 17" bar with 20m lines. But why 20m and not 23m lines ????? I love the 2009 10m on 23m lines with 17" bar, but how will I like the kite on 20m? Best thing is to try it out myself, but why did SS decide for 20m? I'm planing to ride 2009...

Re: Slingshot RPM

@Shymac regarding 2010 RPM: I see that the 10m and down come with 20m lines. Even all 2010 17"bars come with 20m instead of 23m. Why did SS choose for 20m instead of 23m even for the 10m. What was the reason? Doesn't that make the low end of the 10m less good? 10m is my biggest kite (next to 2009 6m...

Re: RPM and Thrusters

I live in the Netherlands too like some topicposters here, and find that the RPM excels in gusty winds. After riding >10 years nothing felt as stable and relaxed in gusty winds as the RPM does. Perhaps SimonP has a point. With 72kg I ride 10 - 6m. From 12knots and up. Then again with 30 knots my 10m...

Re: RPM 2010

So it's safe to order a 2010 RPM today, knowing it flies like the 2009 RPM?

(I just want to get a 2010 RPM (8m) because it comes with the 2010 bar. A 2009 RPM + 2010 bar is more expensive. I already have a 2009 RPM 10 + 6m which I like 100%)

Re: RPM 2010

will they sort the bridal out it looks a mess? What is there to be sorted out? It's small and never gets twisted like kites with bigger bridles like a Bandit Dos. If you make it a mess(don't know how), then after each session connect the bridle connector to the backline connector. Then it's never g...

Re: RPM 2010

Ok , Thanks for the info. I fucking love my 2009 rpm 10m . I just hope I can choose my color, its much better than the gum ball machine. hehe cheers Me too, including colors. If nothing major changes, why a 2010 RPM? So some buy it just because it is 2010 instead of 2009? I'm happy I'm cured of tha...

Re: which one should I buy, rpm 10m or waroo 09 9m?

Try to ride them both and see which suits your style best. My guess is your choice will be very easy then. If you're not able to do that, then the RPM is a pretty safe bet because you can set the frontlines on the kite in more wakestyle or freeride setting to make it suit your style better after buy...

Re: Difference between RPM 6m and 8m

I'm 72kg and have 10+6. And only because the wind can be very up and down overhere I wish I had 10+8+6. 2 weeks ago there was a lot of wind and without 6m I definitely would not have been able to kite. Like a guy who has as his biggest kite an 8m and could not get to the water(winddirection directly...
