Re: uk kiting areas, the good, the bad and the ugly

A very good beach in south east for flat water on a NE is Greatstone. Huge expansive beach that has small waves as it is round the coast from the SW swell and there are no sand banks to create the wave. It is usable on all tides apart from spring high when you need to leave about an hour either side...

Re: Best TS V2

We have a 10m 2013 Best TS V2 demo and have taken it out a few times over the last month, it is a fantastic kite and much better a boosting than you would expect as it is not that high aspect. It has a really nice bar feel and quick turning so you can send it hard and know where it is, smooth loops ...

Re: Which harness to get???

We often find in the mystic range that the warrior fits larger and taller guys well and the shadow the smaller guys as it is thinner and fl...

Stolen Kit - please read and look out for

Three Latvian guys came to hire kit from us (The Kitesurf Centre, Camber, East Sussex, UK) on Saturday (31/3/12) and ran off with the three full set ups. Re: c kites (no pullies) that dont need depowering before un

Every kite on the market, C kite or bow/hybrid kite should not need to be depowered before you unhook if you know how to set up your kite correctly. I see it at pretty much every location I have been to, 80% of the kitesurfers have their kites set up wrong whether it is over sheeted, tight/loose 5th...

Re: 2012 RRD Obsession kite bigger size wind range

It is a higher aspect shape and more efficient profile than the kahoona, you don't get the delta grunt dragging you downwind. They create good apparent wind once you are on the plan and speed upwind. Much faster in the turns and through the air than the kahoona so you can work them better. If you wa...

Re: Trainer kite to teach

The Peter Lynn impulses are great for teaching on, they fly very well underpowered and are very stable and easy to use. They are built very tough to withstand all the abuse beginners give them, we have yet to have one blow out :) 3rd line is also very useful and I would always buy a 3 line kite over...
