Hi,

Since we use a lot of screws in our foils (and they cost a lot), should we be using plumbers tape?

Upwind learning question

Hi,

From what I've read, I should spend my first few sessions with the board touching the water.

My question is: When will I be able to turn upwind? Can it happen with the board touching the water or only later, when the board lifts up?

PS: I'll be learning on a short mast hydrofoil.

Brands often have a big race wing and a smaller one, so to some extent the riders will just "change" size at a different wind speed, if different weights. 8) Peter Hi Peter, I am not thinking on race wings.
