After bagging, fill the pinholes and the texture from the peelply (you should have minimal anyway if you get your process sorted) with "surfboard filler resin", its a thicker clear polyester resin. If you use thin resin or paint etc, the pinholes still come through, there has to be a decent surface ...

Just viewed the latest underground boards... They are much lighter than previous agreed, but they are no where near the weights listed by kitepower, the WT 137 complete was around 3kgs all standard fittings. They are also much thinner, looks like 12mm core thickness, and they are much more flexible ...

OK, ill BET you $20 AUD that a non procarbon 137 WT COMPLETE ready to ride weighs more than 2.2 kgs... now all i need is for somone to verify the weight in my presence on a decent set of scales... Yah man, many experience kiters say what he said^^^ I will also add that the X2 doesnt move around AT ALL, its like rock solid compared with the X3 which tends to wobble a bit somtimes (remember the x3 jellyfishing threads on here???) the kite doesnt jellyfish it just kinda wobbles and feels loose.....

They all do it, when you depower them more they jelly more... SO, they have a very narrow wind range in which they dont jellyfish, which is at full power... V4 was a flop, the distributers are replaceing v4`s with x4`s when they arrive if you complain about the jellyfishing, if you deal with a respe...

The x2 is a better kite in most peoples opinion that ive spoken to and i also think the same. Here in australia, the x2 are still available new and are less than half price when they came out... mine is 2 years old and still not even 1 puncture or rip!!!
