Re: Where to go kitesurfing in May in Europe

A few options in May: 1) Sicily, either Marsala-Trapani area (beware Stagnone is perfect for kiters but not so good for non-kiters... after all is not an open bay but a lagoon, I wouldn't advise for non kiters) and Pozzallo. You could stay at Floripa kitehouse which is 30m from the spot, and the bea...

Re: Kitesurfing in Palawan, Philippines

Toby, Qi is the name of the resort who manage the kitebeach (equipment, staff etc.), as for the Chinese term who means interior energy. The kitebeach is intended for night guests, but day guests are accepted as well if paying smtg like few euros a day (I think 10). As far as I know the beach doesn't...

QI is located in the north tip of Palawan (Red Donut), in the other picture you can see the location referred to the one of Boracay and Cuyo

Re: Sardinia July/August

yes, awesome spots in the Southwest! Most beautiful spot is La Cinta (San Teodoro) though, NE, beautiful ride! I really love kitesurfing in La Cinta, but as you said it works only with NE winds which in summertime do not blow as often as NW-W-SW winds (the same for La Caletta-Siniscola). That is wh...

Re: "Dawn Patrol" & Other Stupid Sayings...

Re: Italy surfing trip with Family in Sep' - need tips

I agree with Sardinia, September should be perfect for wind and weather. Go in the second half to avoid the majority of tourists Then if you're looking for waves you might prefer the West coast between Bosa and Oristano (try to google images for "Capo Mannu Capo del Capo") If you are looking for wav...

Anybody can confirm?
