...but now the Soul, which does have a warranty, is made out of the same materials. Does that mean the Sonic Race and Sonic 2 will now come with the 12-month repair warranty like Flysurfer's other kites?
Of course not, you have to "upgrade" to get warranty

Re: Which bar for women?

Okay so the Stickshift bar works well for my wife, I have also made custom bars for her with an adjustable cleat but in the end you do lose trim range no matter what. We tried smaller chicken loops and the bar really get in the way of doing rotations when sheeted in etc... (there is a reason why the...

Re: SupaEZ Where have you been?

Toby must be doing something right since most of the other kite forums have died in the last few years, for whatever reason. You could say that the users of the forum are doing something right... including Starsky considering he has been here for at least the last 5 years. Toby may move the tiller ...

Re: My first long swim

Glad to hear you are okay. I good knife is a must, having two, even better...EEZYCUTS are a great choice. Talking to a friend who recently had a long swim in side off conditions I had a crazy idea. I said in offshore winds why not wear a backpack with some flippers you could use to get back much fa...

Re: SupaEZ Where have you been?

I'm reviving this thread just to say that it really rubs me the wrong way that Starsky was kicked off the forum. SupaEZ too but especially Starsky. That guy had 4k+ posts to this forum. They ranged from helping beginners to deep dives on technique and gear and included taking measured swipes at som...

Re: Do I bother to get a 60cm mast?

I do know one thing, using the short mast on the sup wave wing is more energetic, dynamic, turns are quick, much more so than when using my 101 mast, I do believe after loads more practice in conditions that will help me to improve, then this will be my direction (when conditions allow)otherwise th...

Re: Ocean Rodeo: The Next Generation is now

NEW BRIDLE SYSTEM New to this generation are larks head loops on front bridles, and knots on the back lines. We've added this in conjunction to our 2 pulley front line re-ride system to make our kites more responsive and safer. The new line up looks great, congratulations! Great to see you starting...

Re: where can I get one of these?

That looks like a line stopper for your front line safety system? You can easily use just a ring and a stopper ball http://store.ryansproducts.com/rings2.html https://www.westmarine.com/buy/sea-sure--1-2-black-and-blue-stopper-ball--P002_065_006_026 The double ring is not needed. Just tie the trim l...

Re: SupaEZ Where have you been?

I'm not techno savy, what keeps someone from registering again under a different username? Really nothing but Toby would know simply by the IP if it was a banned user or likely a banned user. You would have to use a VPN to connect but that can also be detected by a smart admin. Other ways to know w...

Re: SupaEZ Where have you been?

Laughingman Do you think I keep those heavy personal attacks online on my site? I figured I would be able to find them in "flamers paradise" at least then I would have some context as to what happened. I know you try to be fair Toby, but I also know of others who have been banned or warned due to p...
