Re: Flysurfer Speed 4 Lotus Fabric Super Light...

Paul, the first picture on top, is that guy on a 15m?

And the second picture from top (in the air), do you know what kite size the person was on?

Re: What makes a kite jump high? (kite designers!?)

- Agree with you Toby, the more power the better, -But, if you have 2 Speed3 15m, there is enough wind that you are riding them with 80% depower strap and holding the edge pretty hard (ie very over power). If you jump with the exact same 15m that has been tune up to turn a little faster, youll jump ...

Re: What makes a kite jump high? (kite designers!?)

Agree with Toby for turning speed and flysurfer Speed3 are slow and jump high. But if my Speed3 12m would turn faster, than it would probably jump higher. So turning Speed is important. Even if jump higher with the 12m than the 15m (even when they are 80%-90% depower strap) in all the places I kited...

Re: What's the smallest kite anyone has used on the water?

Tony I feel way safer hot launching them vs trying to side launch them... (unless launching when I need to use the depower strap more than half way, then I would like to learn the side launch, but there are so little space on most spots here for that). You are fine hot launching if they are not infl...

Re: What's the smallest kite anyone has used on the water?

I flew a trainer kite on land quite often in the past, I can even do kiteloop on this kite and I feel safe. Used to own a psycho 8m, but didnt like the amount of gustyness in that wind range to make a session fun. After selling it, my smallest kite became the Speed4 10m. Unfortunately before I used ...

Re: Who's been in my shoes? Being a beginner sucks!

THE BOARD MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE WHEN LEARNING!!!! Check out Spleene Door... Was going to give up the sports in 2007 after spending 1 week at a windy lake here, then during the last 3 days, the Flysurfer Rep from Canada Mike Dowie approach me and lend me a Spleene Door (back then Spleene and Flysu...

Need your thoughts on selling pre ~2005 C kite please.

I would like to do a poll and also have a general feeling of people thoughts on someone trying to sell pre 2005 old C Kite? It is extremely important that only people that have started kiteboarding since at least 2003 (or before) until now, and have experience the kite and boards evolution to answer...

Re: Flysurfer Forum Chat! Ask all your Flysurfer questions h

I recently purchased my 3rd Speed3 12m, (I am really addicted to your kite, but cant afford to lose a 3rd one). My 15m lasted extremely long (still have it) but the 12m ... (been unlucky with the first two) Anyway, here are my questions: 1 - Could you guys produce the information sheet that is locat...

Re: Calling Canadian riders from down under

Correction to my last then. 15mph=13kts 13kts=Me, the 15m Speed3 from Flysurfer and the Spleene Door, barely getting upwind (extremely boring). Actually anything under 18 kts (21mph) I find boring but we all have different taste. At 12mph (=10.5 kts) I can only go downwind if working the 15m like he...
