Re: booties / water shoes for kiteboard with pads and straps

I don't know if the rest of the world have these:

They are called sockiplast in Sweden, we call them gymnastic socks. It's basically a sock with a thin rubber sole. So if you just want it for protection not heat retention, they might work.

Re: how much air to pump on the kite

Thank you, edt. I'm thinking of starting off by inflating the kite through the deflate valve, with the nozzle of the air gun just at the opening. I think the air flowing in will pull more air in with it. It is some kind of physics effect :) I think you were right the first time, as one bar of the ai...

Re: how much air to pump on the kite

Digging up this old thread again. Does anyone know how many liters of air a typical 15m kite holds? I'm thinking of buying a compressor for a nail gun for a home building project. If I can use it to fill my kite, it would tip the scale. I want to plug it in before I leave the house to fill the reser...

Re: Minimum water temp. How low do you go?

This thread is so confusing. With people writing temperatures and wind speeds in both imperial and metric units, and some don't even write what units the measure is in. Some threads where there is a discussion about wind speeds, it gets really confusing, as people operate with knots, meters per seco...

Re: Show us your riding style

That was some sick riding there erland. I couldn't help noticing you were riding system bindings. I've tried them at the cable, and I really liked them. But how do they work for kitesurfing? Also what boot where you using and would you say there easier or harder to get on than regular bindings? I d...

Re: Show us your riding style

Nice slow stylish rotations flybykite. How was Mui Ne? Do you think it is a nice place to bring the wife and small kids? I would't call this style, but here is one of me on a 15m kite. I like the backy-mount, but an entire video with it gets kind if boring. Sorry for that, I was alone  . http:...

Everdry on GoPro lense

-Has anyone tried ever dry on the GoPro lense? Might stop fogging on the inside, and drops on the outside.
