Hmmm, I think this thread might confuse somewhat. Some are talking about winds from 19/20 to 30 knots, Tom and K-Roy ? And with a 6 m2 kite on a hydrofoil, it must be shortly only then, 30 knots... If you got 30 knots average wind, you can not use a 6 m2 even on waveboards thats for sure, even a 5 ...

happened a few times, foil stuck in the lines, kite powers up, release CL, bar not able to go all the way, kite death loops...scary. (especially in stronger wind)
Im not mentioning the hits and cuts that is just annoying.

This is going to keep us busy for a while...

I give it a try and loved it. On land it was indistructable, however on the water it snapped in half like a toothpick when I hit a fish at high speed.
No glass or carbon, just 15mm plywood.( 112x40cm; 3.2kg.)

Let me know how you get on, I like to bild an other one this winter...
