if you add a trigger type of release into the bar like the surfire spreader from SS , your system would be perfect . Been riding with that since 2005 and imo it is the best QR in the market , the surfire bar itself is outdated , the swivel leash is useless ( never used anyway ) and the trigger push ...

How many pounds of force will it withstand before breaking/bending?

I like the idea, but that thing looks real flimsy.
under load it seems like it would bend right in half.
Baiscly it looks like a 1/4" steel rod spreader bar

But sorry, no have not tried it :lol:

Try DYNABAR, it helps to keep the harness still giving a lot of movement freedom to the the kiter..
