Point taken... I was off on the temps. Even though I'm talking lake st.clair its still just around 39F if my source is legit. Having a hard time finding readings of st.clair temps online.

Went for a dip yesterday with 4/3 5mm boodies, 4mm gloves and 3mm hood and was fine.. face was pretty cold with the wind hitting but i assume thats normal.. water temps just under 50

Also going to get a walk through with an instructor so should help straighten things up!

Im in northern Michigan so I know cold water. I have a 4/3 quicksilver syncro 4/3 and can handle water above 40 F no problem, if I wear a rash guard with a 2mm neoprene core a bit cooler. If its below 40 F water or the air is under 50 F I wear a 2mm neoprene hoodie over my wetsuit and I am fine eve...
