Unfortunately - this is before Kiting was around - worked in the oil industry - 10 years of working month on month off - 6 months vacation a year......travelled a lot .....if it was now - a couple of light weight kites and a split board would be added to the luggage
Psycho1 How very dare you.............the Pyscho 1 was a blinding performance kite for its time.....boosted huge and relaunched well......ok impossible to kite loop.....oh and really strong - took loads of damage. Kite did exactly what is was marketed as. The psycho 2 whist a better performing kite...
tiny kite - big board - loads of wind is silly fun. I have a 3.5 mt foil that gets rolled out once or twice a year - doesn't jump very well but is great fun flying it round like a mosquito - you can ride fast and just blat about.
I find a 12 / 13 flysurfer ideal in those winds - I'm 70 Kg and find they are the right size to throw around and jump with. Going bigger you will ride ok but not have the weight to really shift the kite. My buddy who is 30 Kg heavier than me will ride the 15 all the time as that is a good fit for him.
