I do not ride waves. TT only. That being said, I understand your love of the Dice. The way it flies, feels, and reacts is special. I have tried other kites, and most do not replicate that feeling. From the same brand, the Rebel, the Neo, and the Evo just do not feel like the Dice. Other kites that f...
I cannot seem to find any 35cm Duotone battens in the US. This is for a 2018 Dice. Lots of the shorter ones for kites and lots for wings, but none of the wing listing mention a diameter or length. I can see listings for Europe. Anyone know if I can buy 35cm battens in the US, if I can buy wing batte...
driving on the beach is not allowed anymore. Police enforces it.
Just so I understand, are you saying that there are no more buggies on the beach that will take you back upwind from the lagoon to Cumbuco? I assume the guys are still offering the service but that they drive inland now?
I do not think there is a specific reason to upgrade, a working 3.0 is still good. However, 4.0 addresses the two main reasons why a 3.0 might stop working: corroded charging contacts or low battery life. Everything else is still an improvement, but not necessarily a compelling reason to upgrade.
I love marketing materials. The Dice is many things, but saying it offers “massive hang time that leaves you soaring” is not really true to form. I am still also disappointed in the crazy canopy layout. I am sure the kite can be a good bit lighter with a symmetric, simple layout. Maybe Duotone saves...
I do not know the Rebel specifically, other than that the 2017 was the last year the Rebel had a loaded fifth line. That being said, I have had 2018, 2022, and 2023 Dice kites that all flew perfectly on high Y and low vee bars. I suspect Rebel is the same. You should be fine.
They are most certainly not sending the kite. You could just pop, but that would be very tiring. Would also love to see a video just to laugh at their antics.
I fly my Dice kites with multiple low cee bars like the Cabrinha. Other than maybe swapping pigtails, it will work beautifully. Works on the Old Dice kites with sliders on the bridle and the new fixed bridle Dices.
I have not found that to be a problem, at least not with the pad catching water. If you truly have huge feet, and if your heel is pushing down on the pad where the pad is not in contact with the surface of the board, even that should not be a problem since the pads can flex a few mm. Basically, if t...
