Re: Looking for a new freeride board

good pop, good upwind, good chop all in the one board is quite unrealistic. it would be the same if tires of car would be equally good on summer and winter on snow. if board is good on chop it usually don't have so good upwind ability. it depends from many parameters but as i have understood one of...

Re: Cabrinha Switchblades 2010 - 2013

I had the SB 2010 , 2011 , 2012 and i have tested the 2013 and i can say that the 2012 SB is the best SB of all years. 2012 SB compare to 2010-2011 ,2012SB have a bit of less bar pressure , 2012 is a bit more stable in the air compare to all SB models included the 2013 The depower rope is longer on ...

Re: Any recommendations for a comfy board?

Aboards Z Series should be on your list too because of - 3D bottom with hydrodynamic stabilizers - light wood core with integrated anti-stress stringers - outline and geometry for combination of pop and upwind ability - 3D top deck with 3-stage flex zones - tunnel concave bottom deck - anti-spray cu...

Re: Maui May 19-27 Kite Sizes?

are u riding a surfboard or a TT?

for surf 6-7m for sure and a 8-9m for the lighter days
for a TT you need a 7m as well for sure and a 10m for the lighter days
don't forget that this place is a wind machine even when the forecast looks light

Re: Size of light wind board?

if you are thinking of buying a bigger kite then go for the 154x48 Aboards Glide, else go for the 164 Glide.
Both boards are very light and very well built.
154 Glide is a bit more playful than 164.
Hope that helps

Re: 2013 Blade Fat Lady

iam very happy with my blade fat lady v2. kite is amazing and working 100% for my riding style and wind conditions at my local spots.
