I can confirm all the light wind claims are a lie  at least until you get the proper technic! I started winging last WE. Mainly for the fun of learning something new and be able to access spots and wind directions that are no good for kiting. I was foiling both sides after 30mn. First 2 session...
Ocean Rodeo Flite 14.5 m already does all this and with a Canadian accent. I will always favor the canadian accent 😊 But to me the Flite is more a light wind kite for TT. Not foil specific… i debated with myself getting the 14.5 at some point. But concluded that I’d stick with the roam 10m as my li...
I’m flying the roam A serie 10m. And it is extremely balanced. No pb flying it with one hand, or no hands 😊 I guess you have checked your lines already for equal length? What you should also do is check when the kite is overhead in light wind if you notice any « asymmetrical » shape. I have had a 7m...

Olympic sailing approved. * 50N * rest-tube ready/supported (officially) * zipper & clips * pockets (also for intercom and emergency breathing but I doubt kiters would use those) * works with waist harness too, this is how I use F-WIP with slider waist h...
The coast guard requires vests? Here on the St-Laurent river I have been controlled sailing and SUPing. On a boat it is an immediate fine if you don’t have the right number of PfD onboard. On a SUP I always have a PFD but have been given a hard time for not having a whistle or other personal signal...
It is a bit crazy that with the number of foilers (foil kite and wing) no brand has come up with a decent impact vest+pfd... something that 1- works with waist harness 2- impact protection 3- 50+N of floatation for emergencies, possibly with an inflatable chamber (like that https://aqoutdoors.com/pr...
I have not tried winging... yet... but this is in the plan for this spring/summer. We get so many days with gusty and shifty wind + not too many kite launch spots depending on water level... So seems to me like a decent fun alternative to spend more days on the water and be less dependent on driving...
