Re: Ban him

There has been absolutely nothing new or of value that I have seen in months it seems... PMU has more original material than this guy.

I would love to see him and all of his comments removed from the site.

Re: old designs can be so much fun....

I still fly my 2007 North Rebel 12M. It's my most used kite. I've demoed some newer North kites, and I own several other kites (North, SS, LF), but I really like the Rebel. I'm sure one day I'll replace it when it fails altogether, but for now, I'm happy to keep using it.

Re: Who Still Makes Non Single Inflation Kites?

The Airtime stick on valves did not work at all on my 07 North Rebel... I had the LE deflate valve fixed twice and a strut bladder fixed once at my local shop and still had failures at the same points. I had a custom set of bladders made for the kite, and no issues since then. Maybe the valves are b...

Re: Cabrinha Bar centre line black plastic and black fingers

I think once you have compromised the surface of that black tube through solvent contamination, not using sunscreen for a day and still seeing black on your fingers does not mean that it is not sunscreen...

You have already done the damage.

Re: advice: surfboard for bad knees?

I've found the OR Mako's to be very forgiving on knees, more so than any TT or surfboard I've ever ridden. You can ride them with a much more neutral stance and they cut through chop like nothing else. If you're committed to a directional board, maybe think about a Mako King ridden in mutant mode.

Re: Freeride/Formula/Race Board/Light Wind Board question

Airush Sector 54 or Slayer 54? This is a much more "surf oriented" shape, but reportedly still has much of the lightwind and upwind drive capabilities of the Sector 60. I own and ride the Sector 60. To me, it jumps relatively well for it's size, and I actually use it in waves pretty regularly; I've ...
