Warren, I live in Holland (Netherlands) love to come to Australia but think it wil not happen.
Tom, ask a local sailshop, most of the time they have Clamcleats in stock and they can order the special ones for kitesurfing for you. I did not find online shops, if any one finds them: please post !

Hello Warren,
Can you tell me the ClamCleat (part) number (2 to 1)?
Do you think that the bar Clamcleat will fit on a (old) North bar?
At the moment i'm using a fixed setup so I think that I'll have more depower possibility (instead of pulling the strap) in long gusts.

I'm not sure but i think you can start at 8-10 knots, thats where I can start my R1, 16m.(when you're onshore you think it is not possible but when you try..) Hello Macca, It doesn't mater if there is no stopper, in case of an emerency and you release your kite the bar will "fly" to the kite (or stopper if you use one), the kite will crash, (first some turns etc) and you got spagetti lines... It is not possible (i've had it 2 times in 1,5 year) to relaunc...
