Re: How to rig for the highest jump?

Biggest jumps have been on my 8m, pretty much overpowered. Kickers are essential to go as big as possible. A cheaper alternative might be the new Yacht master displayed at Basel World 2015

Re: watch suggestions to kite

Basic Casio, from £10-£30 range here in UK. Or G-Shock, I prefer basin as very slim so fits nicely under wetsuit and gloves. I found one buried in sand once, lasted for years ended up losing it so probably still going. I did wear my Tag Aquaracer once -strap came undone and it was loose on my wrist...

I did wear my Tag Aquaracer once -strap came undone and it was loose on my wrist, only reason it didn't fall off was because I had hold of bar, proper panic!!

Re: Advice on eye protection

Baseball cap is best thing I've found to cope with glare, just pull it down low and don't look up too

Re: attaching the chicken loop through the hole on spreader

Donkey dick?? Even if you have one on your CL already a second one on the spreader bar will stop accidental unhooking - 3 large cable ties taped together works well. Only issue with what you suggest is that the clasp on some QR can get jammed in the spreader bar when released. Out of interest, do yo...

Re: Helping Kooks to identify themselves.

When im riding a wave spot to myself and the only other rider within 1 KM (the kook ) decides to ride right next to me as if I want the company, while there is equal conditions 200m either side of me... and on top of what he wants to share an awkward fist pump and "woooo hoooo!" as he passes annoyi...

Re: Helping Kooks to identify themselves.

You know you are a kook if you rig your bar/lines directly downwind  That one again. I almost always do that, because it is very convenient for checking the lines before launching on your own. But no need to discuss the pros and cons of that again ;-) I rig up directly downwind, it's usua...

Re: Helping Kooks to identify themselves.

#You go rig to the beach from the car park with wetsuit on and wearing sneakers /sport shoes and all things hanging from the backpack of your kite..ummhh could be worse, add a fluoro rash vest and wetsuit with arms tied to waist... :o :o # you know it's too windy day for your level and kite size, b...
